A designer employs many skills including typography, color, layout, and tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Good designers also make good use of a pencil when sketching out ideas.

But great designers know that the majority of logo design work comes before you even lift the pencil.

You can’t wait for inspiration to come to you… you have to chase after it. And the more time you spend chasing, the better your results will be.
